Modules can be added individually or in combination to create unique digital inkjet printing solutions. Components include:
Marco Boer, Vice President of IT Strategies, a leading digital printing analyst and consultant, said: “UV inks play an important role in graphic arts and industrial printing because they can be printed directly onto a very wide range of materials without pre-treatment. .UV curable ink dries instantly when exposed to UV light for maximum production/processing speed and much less power consumption than other inkjet inks. In 2021, over 10 million liters of UV inkjet inks will be consumed worldwide and this figure is expected to rise. 10-30% annually until 2027, depending on the application.”
The broad appeal of UV inks makes the FUJIFLIM Samba JPC modules candidates for integration into systems targeted at commercial printers, label and packaging converters, and industrial printers in the decorative, printed electronics, and specialty printing segments.
“The FUJIFILM Samba JPC Module is a key component for integrators and OEMs who develop advanced single-pass printing systems,” said Takashi Fukui, Manager, Inkjet Printer Division, FUJIFILM Corporation. “We are excited to expand the processing capabilities of the FUJIFILM Samba JPC series of UV inks along with our existing water-based ink support. The addition of UV ink support will allow our partners to provide printing solutions that meet the needs of print service providers who we hope will add digital printing to a growing number of applications and further expand the capabilities of this technology.”
The FUJIFILM Samba JPC module is now available to system integrators and OEMs. For more information, contact your Fujifilm sales representative at fdmxmarketing@fujifilm.com.
