Pawan Industries presents self-adhesive film solutions at LabelExpo

Pawan Industries, a supplier of self-adhesive labels for the pharmaceutical and alcohol packaging industries, showcased its range of film lines at Labelexpo India 2022.
Kalpesh Jain, director and co-founder of Pawan Industries, said the Pune-based company looks forward to exporting its solutions and establishing itself among global players.
“We import raw materials from China, Europe, Dubai and the US. We are also looking at global demand to meet it in the future. Our company has been around for nine years and is relatively new in the game. We want to be globally scalable and attract more customers within the company ” Jane said.
“Slow production due to import bureaucratic red tape is a constant problem for us, but with our annual growth rate, I believe we will reach our goal soon,” Jain said.
The company’s website states that it is a manufacturer and supplier of various labels and sticker papers, sticker rolls, barcode labels and tapes, PVC stickers, and more.
Packaging South Asia is documenting the impact, sustainability and growth of responsible packaging in a vast region on a daily basis.
Multi-channel B2B publications and digital platforms like Packaging South Asia are always aware of the promise of new beginnings and updates. Based in New Delhi, India, the 16 year old monthly magazine has demonstrated its commitment to progress and growth. The packaging industry in India and Asia has shown resilience in the face of persistent challenges over the past three years.
At the time of release of our 2023 plan, India’s real GDP growth rate for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2023 will be 6.3%. Even taking inflation into account, over the past three years, the growth of the packaging industry has outpaced the growth of GDP.
India’s flexible film capacity has grown by 33% over the past three years. Subject to orders, we expect a further 33% increase in capacity from 2023 to 2025. Capacity growth was similar for single sheet cartons, corrugated board, aseptic liquid packaging and labels. These numbers are positive for most countries in the region, economies that are increasingly covered by our platform.
Even with supply chain disruptions, rising raw material prices and the challenges of responsible and sustainable packaging, packaging in all creative forms and applications still has a lot of room for growth in India and Asia. Our experience and reach spans the entire packaging supply chain – from concept to shelf, to waste collection and recycling. Our target customers are brand owners, product managers, raw material suppliers, packaging designers and converters, and recyclers.
