Today, we’re excited to launch Package Pickup on DoorDash, a new service that brings even more convenience to consumers and a better lifehack for package returns. With Package Pickup, consumers can ask Dasher to pick up their prepaid packages from home and deliver them to local carriers including UPS, FedEx and USPS. Just in time for post-holiday package returns—the busiest time of the year for package returns—consumers can rest assured that they now have a convenient, hassle-free way to return packages from the comfort of their homes.
For a flat fee of $5 or $3, DashPass members can receive and return up to five packages per order. To celebrate the launch of Package Pickup, consumers can get their first package for free in January! *For those who want to avoid post-holiday returns while still complying with retailers’ shortened return windows, now is the time to try this service.
